My name is Marinela Florea and I have a special interest in culture. I have studied at the Faculty of Philology in Bucharest and I have a Master Degree in World Literature.
During the study I have learned about art interference: music, literature, theatre, painting, films have the ability to intercommunicate.
In 2010, I have managed a Film Club organised by Metropolitan Library Bucharest, “Nicolae Balcescu” branch.
There, I have shared my passion for film to the teenagers interested in literature and cinema. The dialogues about movies developed in dialogues about art and so I have discovered that teenagers were keen to take part in other cultural activities.
Following the Film Club attendees’ interests, I was able to decide to create the Culture Club. Through this Club, the children and teenagers could enjoy the cultural events in Bucharest: theatre performances, classical music concerts, lyric dramas, book launching etc. I think that it is very important for me to tell the children and teenagers interesting things about the works of arts from Bucharest museums.
All these types of cultural activities are set up in a weekend programme called cultural tour. This way I am trying to serve children and teenagers’ need for cultural education.
